Comorbidity: definition, possible ways to diagnostics and treatment

Summary. There were given definitions and mo­dern notions of comorbidity as a combination of va­rious diseases, which are combined with common pathogenic mechanisms. Particular attention is paid to cardiovascular and rheumatic pathology, as well as age-aspects and psychosocial factors, which are crucial in the development of comorbid conditions.
