All manuscripts received by the editors are subjected to mandatory review and approval by the Academic Council of the State Institution National Scientific Center “Institute of Cardiology named after acad. M.D. Strazheska” National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine. Reviewing is performed by internal and external independent experts in the same field. The decision to accept the article for publication is based on the assessment of the relevance of the information provided, its scientific novelty, theoretical and practical significance, article design, quality of content, compliance with design rules, ethical requirements, no conflict of interest.
Reviewers are guided in their work by the recommendations of the COPE Ethical Guidelines for Peer Reviewers.
Peer-reviewed articles are performed confidentially.
Reviewers evaluate the manuscript regardless of race, gender, nationality, religion, or political affiliation.
Reviewers do not communicate with the author personally.
Reviews are not published online or sent to authors.
If there are comments and the need for revision, the executive secretary invites the authors to make appropriate changes, if the manuscript is rejected – informs the reasons for this decision.
The review process takes up to two working weeks.
