Summary. Tumor necrosis factor-α inhibitors (TNF-α) have been widely used in patients with ankylosing spondylitis. There are six different inhibitors TNF-α for the treatment of ankylosing spondylitis, including adalimumab, certolizumab pegol, etanercept, golimumab, infliximab and infliximab biosimilar (infliximab biosimilar was approved in Ukraine). Although they share the same mechanism of action, they have varying efficacy. There are results of a series of meta-analyzes in this article, in which the effectiveness of this group of drugs was studied. According to the results, infliximab and its biosimilar showed to be the most effective.
