Summary. The article presents modern data on the prevalence, pathogenesis and clinical features of Wegener granulomatosis with impairments of the visual organ. The problems of diagnosing at the initial stages in patients without generalized vasculitis are discussed. Early diagnosis and treatment of this disease require close cooperation of physicians of various specialties (otorhinolaryngologists, therapists, nephrologists, pulmonologists, etc.) and using recent diagnostic and treatment methods that will improve the prognosis. The leading method of confirming the diagnosis in patients without generalized course is the histological examination of the biopsy specimen. Two clinical cases of Wegener granulomatosis with early lesions of orbits are presented.
