Summary. The article presents the peculiarities of paraneoplastic syndromes in rheumatology. It puts forward several hypotheses on the pathogenesis of paraneoplastic syndromes. The classification of paraneoplastic syndrome and clinical forms that are most frequently encountered in practice of a doctor-rheumatologistis represented.
