RheumatOlogical paraneoplastic syndromes

Summary. In this article we have covered the problem of presentation occult malignancy in form of secondary rheumatologic diseases. Clinical features, pathophysiology and therapeutic specificity of paraneoplastic: hypertrophic osteoarthropathy, carcinoma polyarthritis, amyloid arthritis, secon­dary gout, dermatomyositis and myositis, Lambert-Eaton myasthenic syndrome, palmar fasciitis and arthritis, panniculitis and arthritis, erythema nodosum, eosinophilic fasciitis, scleroderma-like syndromes, paraneoplastic vasculitis, paraneoplastic acral vascular syndrome, Raynaud’s syndrome, lupus-like syndrome, reflex sympathetic dystrophy syndrome have been described.
