A CASE OF GLUCOCORTICOID-INDUCED OSTEOPOROSIS IN THE PATIENT WITH JUVENILE RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS

Summary. Summary. The lecture presents data on the etiology, pathogenesis, clinical, diagnosis and treatment of the glucocorticoid-induced osteoporosis (GI-OP) in the patient with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis (JRA). An own case-report is described in details. The peculiarities of the presented case are difficulties in the diagnosis and treatment of GI-OP in patient with JRA, which are determined by peculiarities of disease’s onset and treatment on different stages of disease development. Chronic inflammation and systemic use of glucocorticoids are the main reason of worsening of bone tissue.
