ESTIMATION OF LIFE QUALITY AND FEATURES OF PSYCHO-EMOTIONAL STATUS IN PATIENTS WITH PSORIATIC ARTHRITIS

Summary. The aim of the research was to study clinical, psychological and social descriptions in patients with psoriatic arthritis (PsA) and to estimate their intercommunication. 23 patients with definite PsA were included into the study. The life quality was studied using SF-36 scale, estimation of psycho-emotional status — using Spilberger’s scale of alarm and Gamil’ton’s scale of depressions and also by the method of psychological diagnostics attitude types toward illness. It was established that patients with PsA have significantly lower indexes of life quality compare to control group. Patients with PsA have high frequency of anxious and depressed states, most meaningfully correlating with duration of PsA, enhancement of joint changes, pain syndrome intensity. Life quality in this category of patients mostly depends on the psycho-emotional status and type of attitude toward illness. It is established, that high-frequency and degree of anxious and depressed disorders expression, and predominance of inadequate variants write my essay for me of attitude toward illness require the optimizations of medical-rehabilitation process.
