GASTROINTESTINAL SAFETY OF USING NSAIDS IN CLINICAL PRACTICE

Summary. The scientific and practical conference «Comorbidity in rheumatology: features of diagnosis and treatment» organized by the All-Ukrainian Association of Rheumatologists of Ukraine with the participation of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, «DU NSC« Institute of Cardiology named after Aca­demician M.D. Strazhesko «of the National Aca­demy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine, PA «All-Ukrainian Association of Researchers of Ukraine» and PA «All-Ukrainian Association of Preventive Cardiology and Rehabilitation», took place on March 17–19, 2021. The conference addressed topical issues of COVID-19 treatment in rheumatology patients, highlighted new treatment approaches of inflammatory arthropathies, vasculitis and vasculopathy. The reports on the management of comorbid patients and the multidisciplinary approach to the treatment of patients with osteoarthritis aroused great interest. In this context, attention is drawn to the problem report of Galina Vasilievna Osiodlo, MD, Professor, Head of the Department of Military Therapy of the Ukrainian Military Medical Academy of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, to the to­pic «Gastrointestinal safety of using NSAIDs in clini­cal practice.»
