FEATURES OF SUBCLINICAL COURSE OF CHRONIC RHEUMATIC HEART DISEASE

Summary. In 54 children aged 8 to 17 years and 30 adult patients with chronic rheumatic heart disease clinical features, biochemical and immunological parameters depend on the disease course were studied. Lower rates of IL-10 anti-inflammatory cytokine activity in blood serum in children and adults with subclinical course of rheumatic heart disease were estimated and significantly higher values TNF-α ​​in children, which indicates their pathogenic role in the formation of fibrotic changes in heart valves were revealed. The reasonable power Doppler investigation in females with frequent inflammatory pharyngonasal infections (pharyngitis, tonsillitis) streptococcal etiology for early detection of chronic rheumatic heart disease was shown.
