Summary. Some clinical and instrumental signs of the joint inflammatory process, cellular and humoral immunity components status, main proin-flammatory cytokines activity, blood collageno-lytic activity were determined in order to improve the earlier and differential diagnostics of oste-oarthritis at the time of its formation or disease initial stages in adolescents. It was shown, that early stages of osteoarthritis development at juvenile age are characterized by the presence of inflammatory process features. The participation of the immuno-inflammative component in oste-oarthritis formation mechanisms and a collagen metabolism disturbances were proved. The important risk factor of the osteoarthritis development is the previous history of reactive arthritis.
