BASIC PRINCIPLES OF NEW DIAGNOSTIC CRITERIA (2012) AND RECOMMENDATIONs of the EULAR/ACR 2015 ON MANAGEMENT AND TREATMENT OF RHEUMATIC POLYMYALGIA

Summary. Rheumatic polymyalgia is an inflammatory rheumatic disease that sharply develops and is accompanied by severe symmetrical pain in the shoulder, pelvis and neck, limitation of motions, considerable increase in acute phase indicators and anemia of chronic disease. The diagnosis of the disease is proposed clinically, but realization of careful differential diagnostics is required. In 2012 the classification criteria of this disease are published. The article presents the main provisions of the new clinical recommendations 2015 for the treatment of rheumatic polymyalgia of the American College of Rheumatology and the European League Against Rheumatism (ACR/EULAR 2015). The algorithm of conduct of patients is presented with rheumatic polymyalgia, the charts of application of glucocorticoids graphic arts of decline of dose are reasonable. An algorithm for the management of patients, justified the application of the scheme and graphics glucocorticoids dose reduction. Recommendations of the ACR/EULAR 2015 are intended, foremost, for clinicians and it is assumed that they will render them some assistance in the management of patients with rheumatic polymyalgia.
