Summary. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are the first line of therapy for inflammatory nociceptive pain in various clinical conditions: postoperative pain, myofascial pain syndrome, acute and chronic back pain, osteoarthritis, inflammatory arthritis, etc. The choice of NSAIDs from the variety of drugs on the market requires age, the patient’s comorbidities and other medications that he is taking, because in this class there is no ideal molecule with zero risks of cardiovascular, gastrointestinal and renal adverse reactions.
