NSAIDS IN RHEUMATOLOGY: EFFICACY, RISKS AND SAFETY

Summary. The high prevalence of arthritis and rheumatic diseases in general among the adult population and the associated limitations of physical and social activity of patients leads to significant attention to the diagnosis and treatment of rheumatic diseases and comorbid conditions. One of the most widely used tools in the hands of a rheumatologist is nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), the rational use of which is a difficult task. Therefore, a survey was conducted among physicians of different specialties on NSAIDs, which are preferred by physicians in different clinical situations. It is not representative, but reflects general trends in the use of NSAIDs.
