Summary. Gout is a systemic disease characterized by the development of an inflammatory reaction at the sites of deposition of sodium monourate crystals in people with hyperuricemia. Acute arthritis is the main clinical manifestation of gout, which begins suddenly and is characterized by severe pain and requires immediate medical supervision. For this purpose, the use of NSAIDs is recommended. However, the choice of NSAIDs for the relief of acute gouty arthritis is complicated by the fact that gout in most cases is accompanied by several comorbidities. In this case, it is important to select NSAID that is not only highly effective, but also have a balanced safety profile, which will allow them to be prescribed for patients with gout and comorbidities.
