USE OF SLICC/ACR DAMAGE INDEX IN ADOLESCENT WITH SLE

Summary. Summary. In order to study the rate of irreversible organ and system changes in adolescents with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), we have estimated their damage index (SLICC/ACR Damage Index — SLICC/ACR DI, 2010). 58 adolescents with SLE, aged from 12 to 18, have been examined in the clinical cardiologic department of SI «Institute of Children and Adolescents Health Care of the NAMS of Ukraine». The structure of irreversible changes had a high rate of eye damage (71.62%); cardiovascular system damage (30.30%); and musculoskeletal system damage (18.91%). The SLICC/ACR damage index score increased with the disease duration.
