AERTAL IN COMPLEX THERAPY OF Non-specific low back pain

Summary. The paper reports the data concerning the causes of low back pain. The authors consider diagnostic algorithms and peculiar clinical characteristics of the above pain syndrome. Besides, the results of randomized controlled trials aimed at the assessment of therapeutic effectiveness in patients with non-specific low back pain are presented. According to the presented data the administration of non-steroid antiinflammatory drugs and central myorelaxants is well-founded and evidence based. Special attention is drawn to the investigations that have demonstrated high effectiveness and safety of aceclofenac administration in patients with low back pain.
