NONSTEROIDAL ANTI-INFLAMMATORY DRUGS: THE ROLE AND PLACE IN MODERN RHEUMATOLOGY PRACTICE ON THE BASE OF EVIDENCE MEDICINE DATA

Summary.  On the basis of data of demonstrative medicine (мета-analyses, randomized controlled trials, etc.), and also the modern recommendations developed by famous world communities, including Food and Drug Administration of USA at 2005, the European League Against Rheumatism at 2003 and 2004, The Third Canadian Consensus Conference at 21-23.01.2005, there are analysed aspects of effective and safe application of nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) in rheumatology practice. The special attention is given to cardiovascular NSAIDs' safety. Efficacy and safety of the newest representatives of a coxib's class as for influence on organs and systems of human organism is analysed.
